Thank Heaven

I just have to say thank heaven the holidays are over. In the biz, people who don't usually eat out come out of the woodwork. It makes one wonder if they have ever before interacted socially. Then there are the large parties. They can't understand that it takes a while to get drinks for 50 people and that is why they don't have bread yet. It also takes some time to cook and deliver 50 meals, go figure. Just keep in mind that a server is not going to start taking food orders until everyone in the group has a drink. It amazes me how rude and impatient some people can get. Have they forgotten that they came with the other people. Why are you more important than the people you are dining with? It all goes back to manner. LEARN SOME, USE SOME!
